EU Referendum questions: EU Security and defence

In this ongoing series of short recordings, academics from the University of Cambridge and beyond shed light on the key issues to be considered in the run up to the upcoming referendum on the UK's membership of the European Union.

This interview features Dr Geoffrey Edwards, Senior Fellow in the Department of Politics and International Studies (POLIS) and Emeritus Reader in European Studies. Dr Edwards weighs the founding principles of the EU in relation to defence and security, assesses accusations of an intention to form an EU army, and considers the possible impact of the referendum on security issues.
